Hollow Cut Heels in Elastic Fabric with Cow Suede Lining

The upper is cut away in an open, hollowed pattern, so the shoe reads as light and airy across the top of the foot rather than enclosing it. It is worked in an elastic fabric, which is the detail that makes the cut-out construction wearable — the material gives as you move and settles back, so the openwork flexes with the foot instead of pressing against it.
